Catching up...

           I unzipped the tent Thursday morning looking for The Goat Man, but I found an empty tent.  Unsure where to look I walked over to Cindy and Cory’s campsite.  Cindy sat at her picnic table with a wallet in her hand.

            “Did you hear what happened to Brian?”  I kept walking up.  I didn’t care about the creepy man in the Astro van, but she continued.  “When we came back last night we were swarmed by three cops and they arrested him.”

            “Arrested him?  Have you seen The Goat Man?”

            “He was here he went that way.”  She pointed up the hill toward the cars. “Brian called the cops on himself saying somebody was going to cut him up and feed him to the gators.”  I chuckled inside. 

            The rumor is that the arrest warrant was for raping a 9, 10, and 11-year-old girls.  Cory insists he overheard the conversation between Brian and the cops.  If that is true, I am so glad he isn’t here anymore.  The guy was definitely creepy.
